  3. Élet a tundrán • Növényvilág: • Kb 2000 növényfaj (mohák, zuzmók, lágyszárúak) • Törpecserje (max 1m) • Állatvilága: • Kb 50 emlősfaj (pézsmatulok, sarki róka, sarki nyúl) • Ritkák: nagyemlős, nem költöző madarak • Melegebb évszak: rágcsálók, madarak ezrei, rovarok, rénszarvasok
