  5. KFA 2 - Ensure the sustainable development and management of indigenous forests to optimise their social, economic and environmental benefits.

  7. KFA 3 - Ensure sustainable forest management in SA by developing effective oversight of the sector and facilitating co-operative government

KFA 3 - Key Activities • Implementation and oversight of the NFA and NVFFA • Monitoring of leases and collection of rentals for communities • Develop and implement C, I & S for sustainable forest management • Development of Forest policy • Development of forest information system for the state of the forest report
