  2. La actual gestión de la JASS • Es una asociación voluntaria; • No lucrativa; • Agrupa a los usuarios de una comunidad; • Para: • Operar y mantener los sistemas AyS; • Colaborar en el mejoramiento de la salud comunitaria; y • Cuidar de la fuente de agua.

  3. Retos para las JASS • Los dirigentes necesitan capacitación y no hallan quién se la brinde; • No tienen contactos con otras JASS; • Necesitan asistencia técnica; • La cuota familiar es pequeña y hay resistencia a aumentarla; • Los usuarios incumplen sus obligaciones y la JASS se siente atada de brazos; • Las fuentes de agua corren riesgos cada vez mayores y con más frecuencia.

  4. Propuestas para discutir • Contacto con los usuarios: • ¿Rendirles cuenta más frecuentemente?; • ¿Capacitarles como futuros dirigentes?. • Asociarse con las JASS del Distrito para: • ¿Intercambiar experiencias?; • ¿Conseguir capacitación para dirigentes así como asistencia técnica?; y • ¿Cuidar la cuenca asociados distritalmente al Consejo de Cuenca de la ANA?.
