1. Kindergarten Newsletter Congratulations! We are so glad that you have registered your child to attend C.T. Walker Traditional Magnet School for the 2013-2014 school year. We are looking forward to seeing you again, and especially your new Kindergartener! Reminders From Registration: -Money for the school supply kit is due May 24, 2013. Please make checks payable to C.T.W. PTO. $40.00 pays for all of the school supplies on the list, including the kindermat. The kit is $30.00 without the mat. -Summer Reading Log from your packet is due by August 16th. You may send it with your child on the first day of school. KINDERPLAID! The kindergarteners wear Kinderplaid uniforms on Mondays and other special events (picture day, field trips, etc.). Girls should wear a Kinderplaid jumper with a white dress shirt; and boys should wear navy blue pants, white dress shirt, and a Kinderplaid tie. These uniform items may be purchased at The Shoppe on Central Avenue at Hickman Road. Please have your kindergartener wear their uniform on the first day of school. Open House: -You will receive a letter or a call about your child’s teacher and the date of Open House. -Please bring $5.00 to purchase the Kindergarten agenda at this time and $1.00 for a Nikki folder if you did not purchase a kit from PTO.
