  2. CONCEPCIÓN DE LAS CIENCIAS NATURALES • Las Ciencias Naturales son cuerpos de conocimiento que se ocupan de los procesos que tienen lugar en el mundo de la vida. • Los procesos estudiados por las Ciencias Naturales pueden dividirse en tres grandes categorías.

ESTRUCTURACIÓN DE ESTÁNDARES • Para la estructuración de los estándares en Ciencias Naturales fueron punto de partida los Lineamientos Curriculares para Ciencias Naturales y Educación Ambiental formulados en 1998. • Así mismo, dichos Lineamientos proponen dos ejes fundamentales para el desarrollo de las competencias en esta área:

  5. Los estándares básicos de competencias en Ciencias Naturales se dividen en cinco niveles.
