  2. Birth • Davy Crockett was born on August 17, 1778 in East Tennessee. • He had no brothers or sisters

  3. Sent By…. • Davy was sent by Thomas Jefferson with about 10-20 slaves and his best friend.

  4. Who Died? • His best friend died because he got shot by Native Americans. • About 5 slaves died of hunger and disuses and then 5 more died by Native Americans to fight for land.

  5. Who? • Davy is the best leader there was back then and took no food so they had to kill there own food.

  6. He Died • Davy Crockett died in the Texas Revolution and got shot in the arm and in the leg. • Thomas Jefferson buried him under a statue with his name.
