My Interests… • I like most types of foods: Persian, Italian, Mexican,… • My favorite colors: red, blue, pink, black… • I like dogs & fish. • I listen to jazz, blues, classical music, Persian, Salsa music… • I love bike riding. • I enjoy cooking & baking.

Class Rules: • Be in class on time and use your pass if you have a true emergency only. • Use proper verbal and body language. • Keep up with the work on a daily basis. • Being absent does not excuse you from your responsibilities of class work, homework and studying for tests. • Keep the classroom clean. • No gum, food, or colored drinks in the classroom.
Class Rules: 7. Do not use your cell phone in class unless I give you permission. 8. Anything that is taken away from you will be stored in the “JUNE BOX” till the end of the school year. The “June” Box
Grading • Quizzes/tests … 50% • Science Notebook…30% • Labs/projects … 15% • Class work/homework … 5% • Extra credit is an opportunity that adds 3-5% to the total grade. • Grading Scale: • A: 90-100% • B:80-89% • C: 70-79% • D: 60-69% • F: 59 and less
Cooperation • You start with 25 points every grading period. (Each grading period is 25 days) • If you are fully cooperating in class, you keep it all.
