  1. Neutrino WG Plans for Consultation Dave Wark Preparatory Group Meeting, CERN 21/10/2011

  2. Areas to be Covered • Long Baseline Neutrino Oscillations (Accelerator) • European activities (Projects in Europe and European participation in other projects) • American and Asian activities • ReactorMeasurements of q13 • Short Baseline/Sterile Neutrinos (accelerator and reactor) • Atmospheric Neutrinos • Solar Neutrinos • Supernovae Neutrinos (Burst and Relic) • Geoneutrinos • How do we coordinate with non-neutrino subjects which are handcuffed to LBNO? • Proton Decay • Other underground physics (future gravitational waves?)

  3. Areas to be Covered • bb decay – some coordination needed? • Direct neutrino mass measurements • Tritium b decay • Bolometric measurements • Neutrino mass indications from cosmology • Relic Neutrinos • Neutrino propagation • Hadron production measurements • Neutrino cross section measurements • Not address smaller areas (mn, etc., as these are still at national scale) • Who/how to handle High-E n astronomy?

  4. How to Consult? • Seek written input: • Major Consortia (LAGUNA-LBNO, EuroNu, NEU2012, etc...) • Major Experiments • Lab directors (CERN, FNAL,KEK/J-PARC,LNGS,SnoLab,...) • National societies? • Meetings: • Open symposium • European Neutrino Town Meeting • Presentation/session at Neutrinos 2012? • Release proposed material for public comment/consultation?
