    2. LÍNEAS DEL TIEMPO Son una representación gráfica del paso del tiempo. Propósito: permite a los alumnos aprender el sentido del tiempo histórico. Dependiendo de su propósito y contenido se pueden identificar nociones que nos permiten comprender el tiempo histórico: cambios, continuidades, duración, sucesión, simultaneidad, etapas o periodos, etc.

    3. ACTIVIDADES PREVIAS Antes de iniciar la elaboración de líneas del tiempo es importante que los estudiantes identifiquen y apliquen nociones históricas sobre medidas convencionales del tiempo: año, siglo, milenio; representación y significado de los términos a.C y d.C.; representación de los siglos en números romanos.
