ATTENDANCE & MEETINGS • PERFECT ENGAGEMENT, participation in a combination of events and club meetings. • Attendance at the home club meeting or an event is recommende at least twice a month (avg). • Club secretary will record your meeting attendance, however member needs to e-mail secretary attendance at club & district events. • Meetings can be made up at area Rotary clubs or at any other Rotary activity or online. • Board meetings are the second Tuesday of each month. Board meetings count as a makeup. • Quarterly Club Assembly meeting will vary by quarter. Committee will be asked to present. • Each committee choses its own meeting time and place. Attendance at committee meetings should be reported by committee chair. • Attendance at club socials and events should be reported by member. • The most convenient method of assuring recognition of your participation at and event is to register on line for the event (either as a volunteer or register to attend).
RED BADGE REQUIREMENTS • Give invocation and pledge • Give classification talk about your job/business • Perfect engagement – Participation in a combination of club meetings & events • Serve as a greeter or happy thoughts for 4 weeks • Sign up for a service committee • Bring one guest • Visit two other Rotary Clubs • Attend a Board of Directors meeting • Complete Blue Badge Requirement Sheet
WHAT IS A PAUL HARRIS FELLOW? • Established in 1957 to show appreciation for and encourage substantial contributions to the Rotary Foundation. • Paul Harris Fellow recognition acknowledges individuals who contribute, or who have contributions or recognition points made in their name, of $1,000 to The Rotary Foundation of Rotary International. • Contributions to The Rotary Foundation are essential to securing and growing Rotary programs throughout the world. • Club can recognize donors to express gratitude for commitment and offer individual and club recognition. • Member can honor a friend or family member with a named or endowed gift. • Paul Harris Fellows receive a certificate and pin and are eligible to purchase a Paul Harris Fellow medallion.
