  3. Henry Hudson’s Ships • Hopewell took for first two voyages • Half Moon took for third voyage • Discovery took for last voyage

  4. Henry Hudson’s first voyage • Sailed from England to Greenland • Then sailed to Spitsbergen Island • Had to head home because of ice

  5. Henry Hudson’s second voyage • Sailed from England on the coast of Norway • Then reached the Island of Novaya Zemlya • Had to turn back because he couldn’t find the water way to the Kara sea

  6. Henry Hudson’s third voyage • Sailed from England to the New World • Found the Hudson River • Sailed it and thought it was the Northwest Passage • Had to turn back because water got too shallow

  7. Henry Hudson’s fourth voyage • Sailed from England to the Hudson Straight • 14 men on his crew • Sailed into Hudson Bay • Robert Juet turned the crew against Hudson • Was never seen again
