  2. North Truckee Drain Relocation Project JoAnn Meacham, P.E. Utility Manager City of Sparks City of Sparks/HDR Engineering, Inc. Final Project Update December 18, 2007 Shawn K. Gooch, P.E. Jay Aldean, P.E. Flood Control Manager Project Manager City of Sparks HDR

  3. What has happened since our last meeting? • Corps decided to check/review their hydrology for the North Truckee Drain • Changed calculation methods • Found inconsistencies with application of original method • HDR performed hydrologic update • Changed design criteria for the Truckee River Flood Project from the 100-yr to the 117-yr storm • Resulted in a significantly larger conveyance structure (from 2: 10’ x 10’ culverts to 2: 22’ x 10’ culverts)
