  9. Title I • What is “Title I”? • Funds provide programs to help children who are struggling in reading or math. • Extra help (in addition to what they learn in the math and reading classroom). • Funding Provided under No Child Left Behind • Type of program • School-wide- all students

State Assessment • PSSA-a standardized test used to measure a student’s attainment of the states academic standards in Reading, Writing, and Mathematics and assist in identifying the strengths and weaknesses of our academic program. • Grade levels tested • Writing- 5, 8, and 11 • Math and Reading- 3-8, and 11 • Science- 4,8, and 11

Field Trips • PA Cyber offers a variety of fun, yet educational field trips across the state of Pennsylvania. • Each field trip is: • Coordinated for all groups/grades K-12 • Offered to students across the entire Commonwealth • Offered in the months of September, October, November, December, March, April, May, and early June. • For more information on all upcoming field trips check the field trip pages in Blackboard located under the “My Community” tab.
