School Board Academic Goals to consider • As a district, the percent of students meeting proficiency and the percent of students exceeding proficiency on the MCAs and GRAD writing will exceed the state’s averages. • As a district, the expected growth rates for all students will better the state’s rates as measured by the MCAs. • At the elementary level, 80% of students will meet or exceed benchmark targets (fall, winter, spring) in math and reading. • At the high school level, ACT scores will exceed the state’s averages. • At the high school level, 90% of students will graduate with their 9th grade peers.
