  2. BTA Syllabus • Course Description • One credit • Students encouraged to join FBLA • Textbook • Evaluation • Tests & Quizzes - 40% • Daily Grades – 50% • Management Points – 10%

  3. Syllabus cont. • Grades will be given in point form • Ex. A test may be worth 85 points or a daily grade worth 50 • Moodle will be used for assignments and to accompany your textbook • HCS Internet Use Policy will be followed at all times!!!

  4. Procedures • Students are to be in their seat doing bell work when the bell rings • Students are to work until the teacher says it is time to stop • Make up work is the student’s responsibility. • No food or candy in the lab! • Place all items under your desk

  5. Expectations • I expect • Each student to work • Each to do their own work • Each student to pass this class! • Students to provide a binder for class • Student to be prepared with blue or black pen and paper • Earn 100 management points a 9 weeks

  6. Moodle Site • Kbritton.moodle4free.com • You will be given a user name and password • You are responsible for all posted items under your login • Assignments will be turned in on the site unless otherwise stated in class

  7. Where is the work? • When you are out you must ask for your missed work • You have three days to give me your excuse slip • You have two weeks to make up missed work • Work needs to be completed using a blue or black pen • Make up days: Tuesday and Thursday mornings and Wednesday afternoons

  8. Management Points • Joining FBLA • Attending FBLA meetings and functions • One ream of paper per 9 weeks • Extra assignments on moodle site • Word wall definitions (on web site) • Work dress Wednesdays

Acceptable Use Policy • Internet use if a privilege! • You can only use the Internet when all other work is finished, including management points • Must only visit sites on approved list. • Consequences: • Verbal warning; not Internet for the rest of the day • Lose privileges for three days • Lose Internet privileges for a week and call will be made to parents • Lose Internet privileges for a month and student will be written up
