Think of it like this… • The bear walked around the yard and then went inside the cabin. AROUND the YARD CABIN INSIDE the
It’s Different Than… • The bear walked around and then inside. • “around” and “inside” are adverbs modifying “walked”…there is no parade!
Find the Prepositional Phrase(s) • When she went shopping this weekend, Ms. Wherry jumped over the clothing racks and ran through the store searching for bargains.
Find the Prepositional Phrase(s) • She tore through the store like a mad woman until the manager made her leave as a safety precaution for the other shoppers.
