Aims of Rail Baltica Growth Corridor Connectivity Pilot • Making use of existing EU-Spirit services for Rail Baltica and • Extending service area around the Baltic Sea • Implementing Rail and Ferry information for long distance • Integrating additional systems • Warsaw already done (via the CAPRICEE project) • Poznan (via German EFRE project e-KOM) • Lodz/Bialystok (in clarification) • Finnish system (to be clarified)

  10. Ferry dataintegration (1) • VBB in charge of collecting and maintaining data • Will be integrated into EU-Spirit long distance server • Integrated travels train/ferry possible • New transition points at ferry terminals

Ferry dataintegration (2)technicaldetails • Maintenance and export of Check-in / Check-out times for ferries • Plausibility check for ferry speed • Detailed hub modeling for ferry terminals (data to be delivered) • Time zone support (ferries from / to Helsinki and Baltic states) • Support for latitude/longitude coordinates(needed because of the dimensions of the Baltic Sea area) Next step • Import of Check-in and Check-out times for ferries
