  2. Tendon Achilles Problems Tendinitis Achilles problems occur when there’s irritation and inflammation in the Achilles tendon. The Achilles tendon connects the two primary calf muscles to the bone in the heel and is the largest tendon in the human body. You use the Achilles tendon when you walk, run, and jump. Achilles tendinitis problems occur by overusing the tendon while exercising or from regular wear and tear as you age. If home treatments don’t work, you need to see a doctor. Dr. Shakti Swaroop will recommend you the best treatment option based on the severity of your Tendon Achilles Problems. If your Achilles is torn, you may need surgery.
