    1. Implementation of a Practical Aircraft Position and Reporting Identification Beacon (PRIB) in MATLAB www.Fullinterview.com

    2. Under the guidance of RAJESWARI MADAM

    4. Modules: Aviation Surveillance Global Positioning System and GMSK Tracking through PRIB Implementation of Matlab code

    6. Aviation Surveillance Primary RADAR: This is based on the fact that objects reflect radio waves. Primary radars emit high power RF energy and detect the presence of an aircraft by detecting the energy reflected back by the target. Secondary Surveillance RADAR: is a combination of radar and a communication system. In contrast to primary radar, secondary radar does not use the passive echo reflected from a target, but uses an active transponder, which is located in the target aircraft.

    7. SSR signal format:

    8. Satellite based system: Automatic Dependent Surveillance Broadcast (ADS-B) is a new satellite based technology that allows aircraft to broadcast information such as identification, position, and altitude. This requires a Global Positioning System

    9. Transponder types:

    10. Mode S Transponder continuous growth in the number of aircraft has triggered the development of the Mode S transponder.

    11. Global positioning system:

    14. PRIB System :

    15. GMSK: Gaussian Minimum Shift Keying (GMSK) is a digital modulation for sending high-speed data in narrow band frequency modulation (FM) radio channels. In GMSK, the phase of the carrier is continuously varied by an antipodal signal, which has been shaped by a Gaussian filter.

    16. Gaussian filter characteristics:

    17. MATLAB: Definition Uses Applications Features

    18. Available Tool boxes: Signal processing Image processing Control systems Neural Networks Communications Robust control Statistics

    19. Why only MAT LAB simulation ? This is a library that allows you to write C and Fortran programs that interact with MATLAB. Highly user interactive More mathematical functions are readily available There is an ability to define one’s own functions.
