Items to bring to your Advisement Appointments • Bring a completed Enrollment Agreement that lists the courses you plan to take in Fall 2010 and your University Catalog. • Bring your M.A.P (My Academic Planner, formerly called DPR/DARS). You can print your M.A.P. by logging into your Web Portal account at www.mycsun.edu/portal. • Bring your Roadmap to Graduation with you http://www.csun.edu/csm/gradplans1.htm • For Disqualified: Unofficial transcripts, personal statement, semester by semester planner • For Probation: Unofficial transcripts, personal statement • Note: If you don’t have these items with you at the time of your appointment, your advisement appointment will be immediately cancelled and rescheduled NOEXCEPTIONS will be granted.

  8. Registration • Register online • Online Schedule of Courses • Register on time • Permission numbers

  9. Adding and Dropping Classes • Must be done within the first 3 weeks of the semester • Serious or compelling reason for adding or dropping beyond 4th week • You are responsible for ensuring that adds & drops go through correctly • Instructors do not drop students for non-attendance.

If you are Disqualified • You will need to meet with your Advisor to do a contract. • You will not be able to enroll at CSUN for at least one year. • You will need to take classes at a Community College or through Extended Learning. • You will need to re-apply, will be subject to Academic Performance Agreement created by your advisor. • Must earn a 2.00 each semester, and must satisfy additional conditions on your enrollment until you earn a both 2.00 CSUN and cumulative GPA. If you are not able to meet this requirements you will be kicked out of CSUN.
