IAM • Full day four year high school • Prepares students for success at college and in the global marketplace • Earn an International Baccalaureate Diploma from IAM MMSTC • Half day four year high school • Prepares students for learning and discovering the relationships between Math, Science, Technology and Society. • Earn a High School Diploma from LSHS

  3. Who should go there? IAM Students who like: • challenging work • foreign language • self-directed projects • intensive writing • small school MMSTC Students who like: • challenging work • math, science, technology • group work, presentations • research • feels comfortable at two high schools

  4. Who can apply? IAM • Will be a 9th grader in Fall 2014 • Will have Algebra I credit • Do well on admissions test that cover math, English usage and writing MMSTC • Will be a 9th grader in Fall 2014 • Will have Algebra I credit • Do well on admissions tests that cover ability and achievement in Math and Language Arts

  5. Application Process IAM • Complete Application 1.Form A 2. Form B 3. Parent fill out top portion of the Principal/Counselor Recommendation Form. Forms found at www.IAMacomb.org 4. Copy of current report card 5. Copy of your MEAP scores 6. A $25 application fee. 7. Complete 1 – 6 and turn into Counselor. 8 . Application enrollment is January 3 thru 31, 2014. MMSTC • 1.Complete application form.2. Turn into Counselor by Mon. January 6, 2014 • 3. Applications will be available online after December 15, 2013 at the MMSTC website.

  6. DATES TO REMEMBER IAM • Parent Nights January 7, 8, and 14 . 7:00 – 8:30 • January 30–Application due to counselor or January 31 to the center • Admissions tests: March 1 with Time to be determined. MMSTC • December 10 or 12 7:00PM - Parent/student night • January 6 -Application due to counselor. • January 11 – MAT 8 test arrive 11:45 • January 21 COGAT either at 8:00 am or 6:00 pm
