  3. What He Was Known For • Malcolm X was a minister of the Nation of Islam. • Civil Rights Leader. • Was a Muslim.

  4. Malcolm X’s Death • While speaking in the Manhattans Audubon Ballroom, three gunmen rushed him offstage and shot him 15 times at close range.
