  2. Native Americans • Prior to the arrival of Europeans, American Indians (First Americans) were dispersed across different environments in North America.

  4. Arctic Tribe: Inuit • Inhabited present-day Alaska and Northern Canada • Lived in Arctic areas where the temperature is below freezing much of the year. • Housing: Sodhouse, Igloo • Clothing: Animal Skins • Food: Hunting and Fishing Sodhouse Click Here to Return to the map
