Changing Words To Decimals Steps: 1) Underline to identify parts of the decimal 2) Write out front part of # 3) Draw a decimal for the word “AND” 4) Identify the ending decimal place value (“epv”) 5) Draw a skeleton if needed to the epv 6) Fill in decimal places to fit epv 7) Fill in blanks (between point and #) w/ 0s. twenty seven AND fifty three thousandths
