2. Introduction Storytelling is a vital part of Native American culture. In this quest, you will research a Native American tribe of North Carolina and become familiar with terminology associated with your tribe. You will use these words to create your own Native American style story.

3. Task Search the following links to Native Americans of North Carolina web sites to find words conveying the spirit of Native American storytelling. Create an ABC organizer with these words and then write a Native American story using as many of the words as possible. As a group, you will present your story to the class.
