  5. Sickle Cell Anemia • Red blood cell’s have abnormal shape • RBC’s carry oxygen – results in decreased Oxygen transport • Blood blockage throughout body

  6. Malaria • Transmitted by mosquitoes • Blood disease caused by parasites • Parasites ingest hemoglobin in blood (which transports oxygen)
