  2. JOSÉ A. CASTILLO BÓRQUEZCurrículum vitae José Antonio Castillo Bórquez estudió la licenciatura en Artes Visuales en la Universidad de Rutgers en Nueva Jersey, USA. Realizó estudios de Maestría en grabado en la Escuela Nacional de Artes Plásticas “San Carlos”. Así mismo, realizó un Posgrado virtual de Gestión Cultural con la Universidad Metropolitana de México, el Centro Nacional de las Artes y la Organización de Estados Americanos para la Educación. Ha participado en varias exposiciones en México y Estados Unidos, entre las que se destacan el Museo de Arte Moderno de Querétaro, la Escuela Nacional de Artes Visuales, San Carlos, el Museo Nacional de la Estampa, el Museo Regional de Colima, el Museo de Arte Contemporáneo “El Ateneo” de Yucatán y la Universidad de Rutgers y el aeropuerto Nacional de la . Como docente ha impartido cursos en diversas universidades como la de las Américas, la del Valle de México y la Universidad de Rutgers. Ejerció el cargo de Subdirector del Programa de Apoyo a la Docencia, Investigación y Difusión de las Artes en el Centro Nacional de las Artes y coordinó las Convocatorias Nacionales de Educación por el Arte y México en Escena. Actualmente funge como Director del Centro de Formación y Producción de Artes Gráficas “La Parota” y el Museo de la Gráfica de Occidente “José Luis Cuevas”.
