  7. Studies/Work completed • After losing 6167: • F3 wet engine overhaul. • A3 flywheel replacement. • Smoothing and tune changes at LBSEQ=14,15,16 • 6174: 1st cog moved to before final protons. Tevatron Coordinator

Problems • 6154 aborted from bad D2 SFU. • After replacement of SFU, TECAR error on phase slip monitor on page T26. • C4 cold compressor work. • SF hops trans regulator replaced. • 6159: TRF2 tripped off. • 6161 quenched on large pbars from recycler/MI. • On recovery quenched again because QBS ramp started with the lower energy lead flows OFF (timed out). • 6165: TRF7 tripped off. • 6166: During shot setup, B48 vert separator polarity switch failed to switch polarity. Poor coalescing from MI. • Orbits got poor in 6166 because of quad motion from temperature changes. Tevatron Coordinator

  9. Problems • 6167 quenched during squeeze LBSEQ=13,14. • Reason: Possibly too much protons exacerbating bad tunes through squeeze at LBSEQ=14, 15, 16. • After store 6167 quenched: • F3 wet engine overhaul. • A3 flywheel replaced. • 6176 high losses at HEP. Pbar emittance very small, proton tunes landed a little higher than usual. Tevatron Coordinator

  10. Orbit Motion on Memorial Day VA47 and VB11 made sudden change in store 6166 B1 column temp. also made a big jump. Tevatron Coordinator

  11. Tunes at LBSEQ=14,15,16 Removed .003 in both Qh and Qv This had been deliberately put in to compensate beam-beam tune shift. Tevatron Coordinator

  12. Pending Studies • Chromaticity tracker (proton only). Tan • Differential orbits (proton only). Sasha • P1 line matching (proton only). Sasha, Annala • Replacing new BLMs in all houses. Tevatron Coordinator
