  2. Target Data - Background The state used 2010-2011 testing results as baseline data. All subgroups are now required to achieve the statewide proficiency rate of 90% or individually determined progress targets over a six-year period. The following categories/clusters are used for reporting purposes: • Total of 41 Indicators • Performance Indicators • Participation Indicators • Attendance Indicator • 10 Subgroups • Total Population/Schoolwide • Students with Disabilities • Limited English Proficient • Economically Disadvantaged • White • African American/Black • Asian • Native American • Hispanic • Other/Two or More Races • School Level Grade Clusters • Grades 3-5 • Grades 6-8 • Subgroup Clusters of 30 *The statewide proficiency rate will be increased to 95% in 2015.
