Effective April 2011 • Changes have been made to the Voter Card and Address Confirmation Card. • New size (5.5” X 4.25”) • Added a line for “additional contact information” • Intelligent Mail Barcode
Return Mail Pieces Business Reply Mail Courtesy Reply Mail • Address Confirmation Card • National Change of Address Card • Voter Card • Confirmation Card or NCOA cards for some counties. County Boards already have the artwork for the Business Reply Mail card.
Return Mail Piece Artwork • You may begin working with your printer for the Address Confirmation Cards. You may use the same mail piece return artwork that was provided to you by USPS for the NCOA cards. • USPS is working on the artwork for the voter cards.
Old Cards • As of April 2011, you will no longer be able to use your existing stock of voter cards and address confirmation cards. • SEIMS will no longer be configured to print voter cards based on the old format. • Remember: The new cards are a different size. • Remember: USPS will require you to use the new Intelligent Mail Barcode (IMb) for BRM and CRM effective May 2011.
How will these changes affect the List Maintenance Mailings • List Maintenance will need to be completed by April 15, 2011. • Prior to April 2011, county boards will have already sent their January NCOA mailings and their no-contact mailings.
