Technology Integration • Goal- to integrate technology to enhance learning of all students • Three year induction program focuses on the development of teacher technology competencies • At least one technology tool incorporated into each session • Co-planning opportunities and appropriate work time provided to support teachers in integration

7. Induction • Year One • Partnership with Holy Family University • 12 evening sessions • Mentor Teachers • Year Two • Choice of evening program with Holy Family University or in-district workshop during the day • Year Three • Three in-district workshops days Follow-up coaching provided for teachers in all three years

8. Year One • Partnership with Holy Family University • Started in 2005 • Purpose- to benefit teachers of Council Rock who participate in the induction program. • Induction Program serves as a three credit graduate course offered through Holy Family University. • Creates greater continuity in the new teacher’s classroom & limits the number of days teachers are out of the classroom. • Teachers earn Act 48 hours as well as three graduate credits upon completion.

Year One • Focus- Essential Elements of Instruction • Basic level district-wide programs that help first year teachers complete job more efficiently • Outlook- Email & Calendar • SchoolWires (Teacher Websites) • iCue- Attendance & Grading • Online Training System • Technology Support System • Intranet for Collaboration • Web Resources

10. Year Two • Focus- Differentiation (emphasis on Content and Process, as well as student learning profiles) • Technology integration to enhance differentiation • Inspiration/Kidspiration • Nettrekker • Safari Montage • United Streaming

11. Year Three • Focus-Further development of differentiation (emphasis on product), and using a balanced system of assessment • MovieMaker • Classroom Performance System • Podcasts • Blogging • Secondary Blog • First Grade Blog
