Convention Purpose Cont’d: • Organize and to improve participation in Missionary Circles including Seniors, Young Adults, and Youth in Baptists churches across the state. • Promote a broader spirit of missionary endeavor; • Encourage the study of the Bible and other missionary books; • Support the major objectives: State and Foreign Missions, Shaw University and Shaw Divinity School, J. J. Johnson Baptist Assembly, and Central Children’s Home of North Carolina • Cooperate with GBSC”

8. WHAT’s our purpose for gathering today? The One-Day District Conference of WBH&FMC

9. What is the Purpose of the One Day District COnference? Convenes to: • Review missionary progress • Receive reports • Teach the program of the Women’s Convention • Encourage conventional attendance • Support the objectives of the Women’s Convention in each district.

10. Who attends the One Day District Conference? Composed of Circles and Unions in the District. • This includes: • Circle Presidents, • Special Workers, • Young Adult Directors, • Youth Supervisors • Union Presidents

11. When do we meet: Once Annually • Usually the 4th Sat in April • Location changes each year based on the churches in our group and district
