Arthritis of the Foot • There are 28 bones and 30 joints in the foot. • This is an example of rheumatoid arthritis, which occurs when the joint lining or synovium becomes inflamed and pulls the bones out of place.
Arthritis of the Hand • Inflammatory arthritis occurs when your own body considers pieces of tissue as “foreign” and attacks them. This is what is causing the bones to be pulled out of position.
