  6. Problem • How can the USFS actively steward the NHD in coordination with so many other stewards ?

  7. Solution • Keep it simple • Utilize existing efforts and processes • Encourages coordination and collaboration with stewards at the local level

  8. USFS NHD Stewardship • Regional Leadership – Forest Stewards • Identify and work with local stewardship infrastructure • Preferably get involved in stewardship agreement • Internal coordination between GIS and Hydrology programs
