  2. Once upon a time in Egypt there was a sky god named Scarab. One day she got news that her grandma (Cleopatra) that lives in the East Plateau, got really sick.

  3. Her mother gave her goodies and medicine to bring to her Grandma. She walked over the East Mountains where she soon found a desert coyote.

  4. The coyote asked Scarab for the goodies, but she said no and ran. The coyote chased her down. He asked again but she said no once again and ran into the valleys. There she found a Jack Rabbit who said he’d help her if she gave her some Papyrus.

  5. . So Scarab found Papyrus and gave it to the Jack Rabbit. Later, they were almost off the East Mountains, when she saw the coyote. She called the Jack Rabbit who called the coyote off.

  6.   Soon they could see Cleopatra’s palace. They went inside and thought they saw Cleopatra. Soon Cleopatra said, “Give me those goodies.” Scarab said no and thought…. my grandma does not talk like that.

  7. “By the way what big teeth you have, what a big nose you have! Wait a second …...you’re the coyote!” exclaimed Scarab.

  8. Soon the Papyrus cutter came in and saw the coyote. He cut him and out came the real Cleopatra. Then Scarab gave the basket to her grandma and everybody had known her as Nubit. Her name stayed on but everybody called her Nubiti Scarab.
