INSPECTION • Method of examination in which the physician looks for visible abnormalities of speech, skin, color, gait, posture, etc
PALPATION • Method of examination by touching with fingers or hands.
PERCUSSION • Method of examination by tapping various parts of the body
AUSCULTATION • Listening to body sounds; Method of examination by use of stethoscope

MANIPULATION • Passive movement of a joint to determine the range of motion
