  1. Holtville High School Band Practice, Practice, Practice!

  2. Music • Your first and second song have been downloaded to MyBigCampus, the HHS Band Facebook Page, and the band page on the HHS Website!!!

  3. Percussion • The Snareline part to “Jump” is your audition piece. • July 9th at 5:30 in the bandroom is your audition.

  4. Band Camp • Remember: • Band camp starts July 29th at 8:30 am • To wear light colored clothes • To bring sunscreen • To bring water • To wear tennis shoes • Do not drink milk for breakfast (unless you want to get sick)

  5. Section leaders • Remember that you can have sectionals!! • I am not free until July, but you can have them yourself until then  • Let me know if you have questions • Make sure everyone has music!! • Practice 

  6. Helpful hints • To be ready for band season • Do not be TOO lazy throughout summer • Get used to drinking water • Take walks occasionally • Practice • Ask for help when needed
