Strategy/Action taken by Government departments to combat the situation • Regular meeting of CMG were held • Directions given by DMD to the DMs to enforce proper implementation of Shatabdi Anna KalashYojna • Strategy of Agriculture Department • Use of Diesel Subsidy to supplement rainfall for • sowing and transplantation of paddy (2 times for seedling and 3 times for transplantation) to increase coverage • Diesel subsidy for maize 3 times • Arrangement for diesel subsidy for state tube well • Saving standing crops
