    2. 3.1.1 Objeto de la ley 16998 Garantizar las condiciones adecuadas de salud, higiene, seguridad y bienestar en el trabajo Lograr un ambiente de trabajo desprovisto de riesgos para la salud psicofísica de los trabajadores Proteger a las personas y el medio ambiente en general, contra los riesgos que directa o indirectamente afectan a la salud, la seguridad y el equilibrio ecológico.
