  2. From the district and building perspective, organizing assessment can sometimes feel like this….. Do you sometimes feel like you can’t quite get a grasp on all of the things that need to be tracked?

Strategy 1 – Review Existing Tools and Determine Linkages • Online DATA Project Activity Log • Existing Data Team Organizers and Forms • Google Calendar / Forms • Results Indicators for District and Building from Accountability in Action • Essential elements from the Team Initiated Problem Solving Model (TIPS)

Strategy 2 – Develop a Support Framework for the Toolkit • Create Version 1.0 of the Toolkit for Accountability • focus on indicators that emphasize student achievement • use of indicator results to make informed decisions about improvement • all staff and board members in a district are held accountable • promotes an integrated approach to EBISS, RTI, PBIS and DATA

  17. Strategy 3 – Develop the Tools • Develop a set of tools • Tracking the work being done by teams • Communicating assessment results • Analysis of data • Intervention plans including results indicators

  18. Strategy 4 – Presentation and Delivery Model • Develop a training module • Develop a service delivery model including coaching

  19. Strategy 5 - Communication • Develop a clear channel of communication that allows for ongoing dialogue from/between users

  20. Strategy 6 - Evaluation • Continuous improvement model / process • Periodic project evaluation • Initially input will be from pilot sites • Any district is welcome to participate • Will expand to include all Sustainability and Implementation Districts

The Toolkit is designed to assist in: • Crafting questions about accountability, equity, and continuous improvement • Coordinating the collection, analysis, and dissemination of data that are necessary to address these essential questions • Building action plans • Monitoring progress of improvement initiatives
