Quality Assurance toward Certification for Flight • Begins at project definition and ends at time of LMSO shipment to customer. • Establishment of quality requirements for project to assure compliance with flight hardware requirements. • Workmanship • Materials • Welding • Certificates of Compliance • Traceability • Participation in design reviews • Preparation of Work Documents (WD) • In process inspection, receiving inspection, test witness • Preparation of Acceptance Data Package (ADP) • Shipment Authorization

  4. Quality Engineering and Inspection • Consultation with project engineers • Drawing Review • Receiving, In-process, Shipping Inspection • Qualified Vendor List (QVL) • Statement of Work and Purchase Request Review • Work Documents (WD) • Task Performance Sheet (TPS) • Discrepancy Reports (DR)
