Intro cont’d • Take a good look at Common Problems in Korean English (한국식 영어의 허점과 오류) by David Kosofsky. • Buy it if you can.
Intro cont’d • Get tips from http://owl.english.purdue.edu/ • I use it for ideas and tips all the time. I recommend you do the same. • Use www.dictionary.com, but don’t write from a dictionary. Use vocabulary you have some familiarity with. Big words don’t impress me and they often get you in over your head.
Intro cont’d • Please check the website regularly <www.profjbh.com>. It will change regularly and is the class communication channel when we are not in this room. • Surprises can always come up.
Intro cont’d • And PLEASE remember …. When you communicate with me by email ALWAYS include your name, your class, and the time of your class. Make it easy for me to remember which class file I need to put the information in.
Intro cont’d • For now, information you’ll need for next week will be online by 6 p.m. today. • www.profjbh.com
