Traditional Resume The “scattergun” approach is not very effective • Your resume may be considered for 1 minute or less • If it is not specific to a particular job or company, it may quickly be discarded
Better Method: A Focused Resume “Zero-in” on a particular company, a particular job • More personal • More sincere (you are no longer saying “I’ll take any job”) • Recruiter can quickly see what your skills and job goals are.
