Font Selection Fonts that do not have serifs: Sans serif fonts Look more modern and attention grabbing Used for: titles, and also on the internet where they’re easier to read.

Unit1Activity4Part1.doc Pick another font that has serifs. Write:“This is another serif font.” Pick another font that does not have serifs. Write:“This is another sans serif font.”
Final Note on Fonts Size 12 is standard. Titles and headings can be bigger. But body text looks bad if it is larger than about size 14 as a maximum. Anything smaller than size 10 isn’t recommended either.
Borders This line must be important because it has a border all the way around it! Select the line, and from the top menu, under Paragraph menu, click Borders and Shading Change the Line Style to two parallel lines, 3.00 pt.
Columns Here is a paragraph that will be put into a different number of columns. The first example is just one column. Then we'll try two columns... and for an exciting and utterly unexpected finale, three columns. From the top menu tabs, click on “Page Layout” Select “Columns”
Clipart: The Gallery “Insert” tab is where we want to go to. Select “Clip Art” You should have the Clip Art menu appearing on the right side. You can search for a key word of any clip art from here. You can adjust its size and placement as well
