Who to Notify while Ending your Marriage • Your council tax office. • Housing benefit office • Water, gas, electricity and telephone companies • Current school of your children. • Your bank or any other financial institution if you have a joint account. • Hire purchase or credit companies • Insurance companies, particularly if you have joint policies • Post office, if you want mail redirected to the other place you are moving to.
