2013 A level Exam results Fortismerestudents produced an excellent set of A level results in 2012 • A* - B 71% at Fortismere (53% nationally)A* - A 39 % at Fortismere (27% nationally) We also gained excellent results in many subjects at A level • English: A*- B grades at Fortismere 80% (48% nationally) • Biology: A* - B Grades at Fortismere 77% (52% nationally) • Chemistry: A*-B Grades at Fortismere 76% (60% nationally) • French: A*-B Grades at Fortismere 78% (69% nationally) • History: A*-B Grades at Fortismere 86% (57% nationally) • Gov & Politics A*-B Grades at Fortismere 92% (57% nationally) AS Levels: 30% of all grades in 2013 were A grade

UCAS and the next steps • Around 200 applications per academic year • Progression to University Courses • 90% of our students commenced undergraduate study at a variety of Universities on a variety of courses in September/October 2013 • 16 of our students commenced courses at either Oxbridge or Medical School. These are the most competitive courses to gain admission on in the country and we are extremely proud of their success.
