RESEÑA DEL SECTOR EL GOAJIRO FUE FUNDADO EN1956 ORIGEN DEL NOMBRE En una oportunidad un muchacho llegó al pueblo como cualquier joven aventurero que se residenció en casa de la Señora Ana Ruiz, esposa del Señor Ricardo Gudiño, dicho muchacho era muy travieso y guapetón, tenía características de indio goajiro y ciertamente venía de esas tierras.

RESEÑA HISTORICA ALDEA UNIVERSITARIA Nace como iniciativa del Estado Venezolano y del gobierno que lideriza el comandante Chávez como estrategia para el desarrollo permanente, orientado a facilitar la incorporación y continuidad de Educación Superior. En el mes de noviembre, del año 2003 comienza a ponerse en practica esta noble misión. La ALDEA fue inaugurada por el Gobernador REYES REYES en el año 2006.

  4. s CARACTERISTICAS DE LA INSTITUCION • Es de carácter publica. • Su nivel de instrucción es superior. • Cumple con dos turnos: nocturno y fin de semana. • Cuenta con 3 módulos de 2 plantas cada uno y 2 Laboratorios de computación con acceso a Wi- fi. • Tiene una matricula de 830 triunfadores y 54 profesores. • Cuenta con 19 aulas, todas en perfectas condiciones con un promedio de 25 triunfadores. .
