Medical Team • The Medical team members will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing the physical condition of the crew. • Perform medical tests on other astronauts • Auditory • Visual • Pulse, blood pressure • Vestibular
Navigation Team • Communicate directly with your teammates using a headset. • Determine the landing site on Mars. • Launch and land the Mars Transport Vehicle. • Replace the crew on Mars at Chryse Station with a new crew.
Remote Team • The REM team members will be working with their arms inside the glovebox. • Use robotic arms to retrieve samples. • Study earth and Mars rocks. • Study Mars soil samples.
Life Support Team • Monitors the Mars Transport Vehicle environment to ensure the safety of the flight crew. • Responsible for monitoring environmental systems: • Humidity • Air pressure • Temperature • Oxygen • Solar Array • Water Treatment
Isolation Team • The ISO team members will use robotic arms to conduct research on board the Mars Transport Vehicle. • Analyze potentially dangerous chemicals, meteoroid shield hits and oxygen filter readings.
Data Team • Manage the message flow between Mission Control and the Mars Transport Vehicle. • Manage the quality of messages between Mars Control and MTV. • Decide what messages need to be forwarded to the COM officer for quick delivery. • Record emergencies.
Communication Team • The COM team is the integral link between the Mars Control and the Mars Transport Vehicle. • Responsible for sending ALL verbal messages between Mars Control and the MTV. • Manage the message flow in Mars Control and the MTV.
Probe Team • The Probe team will use an electronic balance to measure the mass of probe parts. • They will construct a probe using supplied parts, test for faulty probe parts and wiring problems. • All directions will be given by Mars Control to the MTV over a headset.
PAO-PublicAffairs Officer • Responsible for all media and public relations • Interviews crew members • Takes pictures of mission • Responsible for follow up report about mission
