  3. 2X660 MW MAITREE SUPER THERMAL POWER PROJECT Management Summary • Appointment of Owner’s Engineer: Appointment of M/S Fichtner GmbH as Owner’s Engineer has been approved in 8th Board Meeting. Notification of Award issued on 24th April 2014. • Appointment of Coal Consultant : Pre-proposal meeting held on 10th April ‘14. • Environment Management: 1st Quarterly monitoring of Environment parameters done by M/S CEGIS. Report expected in 2nd week of May. • Boundary wall, Slope protection & Additional area filling: Negotiation held with M/S BDPL. Contract Finalized. Notification of Award issued. • Pre-fabricated Site Office : Technical specification Finalized. • Substation Package: Bid opening on 15th May’14. • Consultancy for Gate Complex: Contract is at finalizing stage. Pontoon stair erected. • 33/11 KV Line 200 KVA both the transformers erected. Cable laying completed. • Site filling work completed. Micro-leveling & compaction in progress. • Earthen dyke preparation in progress, for slope protection. 1500 m/ 5400 m completed. • Main Plant Fencing work in progress. PROGRESS REPORT-APR'2014
