Coordinate with MEDPLT -1 Medical Treatment Level II Patient is examined and wounds and general medical condition are evaluated to determine treatment and evacuation precedence. Evacuation Procedures Optimum patient care and treatment while on the move to enhance the patient’s return to duty.
Coordinate with MEDPLT -2 Preventive Medicine Program
Coordinate with MEDPLT -3 Preventive Medicine Program Consultation on the following areas: Environmental sanitation Epidemiology Sanitation engineering Pest management
Verify with Commanders -1 Preventive Medicine Measures Establish field sanitation teams to preserve the unit's health and reduce incidents of DNBI. Enforce food and water safety standards.
Verify with Commanders -2 Preventive Medicine Measures Plan and enforce personnel hygiene measures. Develop and enforce a unit sleep plan (provide a minimum of 4 hrs of uninterrupted sleep in a 24-hour period.
Stress Control Ensure all mental health/combat stress control matters are addressed. Predeployment Deployment Combat Redeploy Home
Validate Combat Lifesaver Program • Each company/troop must have a combat lifesaver program • Each squad will have a qualified combat lifesaver • Ask the FSMC for training assistance, if needed.
